British Airways, The quest to Gold

Embarking on a quest for Gold status with British Airways. Reach the first level, Bronze, in just a month and a half? Challenge accepted! π₯βοΈ
Here’s how I managed to climb the tier status ladder at lightning speed, all while keeping my travel plans as organic as a farm-to-table salad:
π Trip 1:
MIA to SFO β Economy round trip, raking in a cool 70 tier points.
π Trip 2:
MIA to ORD β Economy (5 tier points)
ORD to BNA β Economy (5 tier points)
BNA to MIA β Economy (5 tier points)
π Trip 3:
MIA to JFK β Business (40 tier points)
JFK to LHR β Business (140 tier points)
LHR to IOM β Economy (10 tier points)
IOM to LHR β Economy (10 tier points)
LCY to DUB β Club Euro (40 tier points)
DUB to LCY β Club Euro (40 tier points)
LHR to MIA β Business (140 tier points)
Now, here’s the secret sauce: connecting flights. Take MIA to ORD, for example. A round trip in economy would normally earn you just 10 tier points. But throw in a connecting flight each way, and suddenly you’re looking at a sweet 20 tier points.
So, the adventure continues! I’m on a mission to hit Silver status by Thanksgiving and clinch that glorious Gold before my Collection Year comes to a close. Stay tuned for more tales from the skies as I chase those tier points and soar to new heights with British Airways. β¨π«
