Brightline Just Dropped a Loyalty Program and It’s Kinda Awesome

All aboard the perks train! 🚆 Brightline just rolled out Brightline Rewards, a shiny new loyalty program that lets you earn points when you ride and then spend those points on future trips, upgrades, parking, and other fun extras.
How to Earn Points
Book your ride through the Brightline app or GoBrightline.com and start stacking points like you're building a travel empire.
Here’s the scoop:
- Normally, you’ll earn 5 points per dollar
- Right now (until June 3, 2025), you’ll get triple that — 15 points per dollar
- You earn points on every ticket you buy (even if you’re booking for others — the buyer gets the loot)
- Points last for 12 months, so don’t sit on them forever
Here is an example of a trip from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando (for you Disney and Universal Passholders 😉) for a family of 3 (2 adults, 1 child). At the Smart Saver tier it will cost $344.25 round trip.On the flip side, it would earn you 1,721 points (equivalent to $17.21 at a .01 redemption rate).

What You Can Get
Your points are worth about one cent each. So, if you rack up 1,000 points, that’s around $10 you can use on travel. Redeem points for rides, premium seat upgrades, and parking. Simple.
But wait — there's more:
- Flash sale early access for members
- Exclusive discounts at stations (like 10% off at Mary Mary Bar and MRKT)
- Surprise perks and mystery bonuses (a little ✨spice✨ for your inbox)
- Entry into giveaways, like a luxury resort stay
- VIP access to promos that regular folks never see
But What About Redemption Rules?
Brightline uses dynamic pricing. That means the number of points you need changes depending on things like travel dates, how full the train is, and which seat you want. So yeah, your points are like cash — but with mood swings.
No Partners Yet... But They're Coming
Right now, Brightline points can only be used with Brightline. But they’re not riding solo forever. They’re teaming up with big names like Loews Hotels, Marriott Bonvoy, and Major League Baseball.
One current deal? If you book a stay at Loews Miami Beach Hotel or Loews Coral Gables Hotel through Brightline, you’ll get a $100 food-and-drink credit. That’s a lot of poolside tacos.
What’s Next?
Brightline’s CEO says this is just the beginning. They're talking elite tiers (hello, fancy status) and possibly airline-style perks. Think of it like a frequent flyer program — but for people who hate TSA lines.
How to Join
Joining is easier than finding an outlet at a coffee shop. Just create a Brightline account (or log in if you already have one) and then opt into Brightline Rewards. When I logged into my account on the app, I was immediately prompted to enroll. At this point you can sign up or skip for now. It’s free, and yes, you should absolutely sign up.
The gist of it all:
Brightline Rewards lets you earn and burn points on train rides and perks. Right now, you’ll earn triple points until June 3, so go ride while the point train is hot. More partners and perks are coming soon, so stay tuned.
Ready to roll? Sign up, book a ride, and let those points pile up like laundry you keep saying you’ll fold.
